Job summary

Paylocity is a cloud-based HR and payroll provider recruiting an Implementation Consultant II for our Lake Mary, FL site. This on-site role focuses on leading consultative discovery, designing customized system configurations, and ensuring accurate data conversion and client onboarding.

You will balance legacy data, validate configurations, and provide proactive support throughout implementation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Customer Service or Customer interfacing role
• 3+ years’ experience in HCM consultation or benefits / payroll / HR
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred; however, candidates with at least two (2) years of HCM implementation experience, or a minimum of three (3) years of HCM/Payroll experience, will also be considered.
• Knowledge of Paylocity products and process is preferred.
• Client Centric Approach: Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer-focused mindset throughout the implementation process.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ability to quickly adapt to new software platforms.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to clients during moderately complex implementations
• Facilitate discovery sessions and design customized configurations
• Assist with data migration, data mapping, and data validation for integration
• Gather business requirements related to payroll, HR, time, and labor
• Review configurations to ensure alignment with client needs
• Collaborate with sales, product SMEs and project managers to deliver implementations
• Troubleshoot implementation issues and escalate when needed
