Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an equipment technician to join a fast-paced fab environment, collaborating with technicians and engineers to maintain and improve manufacturing equipment used to produce advanced semiconductor devices.

You will perform 6S, follow SOPs and OCAPs, execute preventative maintenance, and communicate with engineers and teammates on the cleanroom floor wearing full smock; prior Implanter experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; technical degree preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Previous experience on Implanters preferred.

Responsibilities

• 6S in the office and fab, safety first.
• Follow SOPs, PTPs, and OCAPs to work safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance including mechanical assembly/disassembly on fab equipment.
• Use structured problem solving to find impactful solutions.
• Communicate effectively with engineers, leaders, and teammates.
• Work on the cleanroom floor in a full cleanroom smock.
