Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Technician II- Equipment (Implant) to perform routine and preventive maintenance on production ion implant equipment at our Colorado Springs site. The role requires hands-on electrical/mechanical work, troubleshooting, and collaboration with senior technicians.

The candidate should have 2+ years’ related experience and an AS technical degree or military electronics certificate. Front nights schedule applies with weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ work-related experience or training required.
• AS technical degree or equivalent; electronics-focused credentials preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive maintenance on ion implant equipment and test systems.
• Set up, operate, and interpret results of test equipment including oscilloscopes and DMMs.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on installed equipment.
• Rebuild sub-assemblies and mainframe vacuum systems using established techniques.
• Assist senior technicians with verification testing after PM.
