Acara Solutions is seeking an Implant Equipment Engineer in Boise, ID to own the performance and reliability of ion implantation equipment in a high-volume semiconductor fab. You will drive uptime, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement data-driven improvements with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes SPC, predictive maintenance, and the application of AI tools where appropriate, with a focus on safety and efficient manufacturing operations.

Competenze

• 2+ years of semiconductor manufacturing experience in equipment ownership, maintenance, or engineering support; or 5+ years with an associate degree.
• Ability to work onsite in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Mansioni

• Own ion implantation equipment performance, reliability, and sustainment, including equipment health metrics, maintenance strategies, and operating standards.
• Lead complex root cause investigations using structured methodologies such as 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, and fault isolation techniques.
• Apply SPC, data analysis, and statistical methods to detect trends, resolve recurring issues, and prevent failures before they occur.
• Identify and implement improvements in equipment productivity and operational efficiency through automation, monitoring, and predictive maintenance.
