Micron Boise is seeking an Implant Process Engineer to own development, optimization, and sustainment of ion implantation processes for high‑volume memory manufacturing. You will partner with equipment, integration, yield and manufacturing teams to ensure robust process performance and safe execution in a fast paced fab.

You will drive process changes, monitor inline metrics, and apply data‑driven techniques (SPC, DOE) to improve yield and reduce cycle time while working on-site in Boise, Idaho.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Materials, Physics, or related field).
• 2+ years semiconductor manufacturing experience with implant process ownership or development.
• OR equivalent military experience, OR Associate degree with 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Ability to work on-site in a manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of Agentic AI or willingness to learn Agentic AI to help developed efficient workflow.

Mansioni

• Own ion implantation process development and sustainment, including process specs, control plans, and inline metric targets
• Drive yield and defect improvements using SPC, data analysis, and structured root cause techniques
• Lead process change reviews, risk assessments, and qualifications for new or optimized implant processes
• Collaborate with equipment engineering, integration, and vendors to align process requirements with tool capability
• Improve learning speed and cycle time through innovative use of inline metrology and data‑driven monitoring
