Job summary

The Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Plains is seeking a part-time Cook to oversee the Club's kitchen and café operations. You will manage meal preparation, ordering, and daily cleanliness while ensuring health and licensing compliance.

Responsibilities include assisting with menu planning, supporting events, and coordinating meals across Club locations. Must meet Food Safe training and be able to work varied hours during school year and summer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with youth is preferred.
• Must be available Monday–Friday during school year and summer hours.
• Experience in a commercial kitchen and in food service is required.
• Ability to understand and demonstrate behavior management and safety values.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation of Club meals including breakfast, lunch, snacks and suppers.
• Handle food orders, meal preparation, serving, and post-meal cleaning.
• Ensure kitchen meets licensing and health requirements.
• Assist with café operations and nutrition menu creation.
• Support program events and meal service at multiple locations as needed.
• Assist with meal prep at alternate locations and during special events.
• Lead grant-related projects as assigned.
