Job summary

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older and education/experience requirements listed.
• Criminal history check required and valid driver’s license.
• Pre-employment drug screen and physical ability test required.
• Preferred: Earning an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee youths in daily activities to ensure safety and security.
• Teach and model coping skills, de-escalation, and prosocial behavior.
• Apply cognitive behavioral strategies and motivational interviewing with youths.
• Work in a 24/7 facility with shift work and potential physical restraint needs.
