Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Georgia, located in Hampton, GA, seeks an Activity and Volunteer Coordinator to design and lead youth-focused recreational, arts, and wellness programs in a therapeutic setting.

The role collaborates with clinical and residential teams, recruits and trains volunteers, manages schedules, and coordinates on- and off-campus events to support individualized treatment goals.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating activities and youth programming.
• Experience with volunteers recruitment and training preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate activity programs (arts, recreation, wellness).
• Facilitate activities that support youths' social, emotional, and developmental goals.
• Create and maintain daily/monthly schedules; coordinate campus and community events.
• Collaborate with clinical, PBIS, recreation therapy, and leadership teams to align with treatment goals.
• Monitor participation and engagement in activities and programs.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and retain volunteers with Development Department.
• Build relationships with community organizations to expand resources.
