• 1 year Workers' Compensation claim handling experience or successful completion of WC trainee program.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and build relationships with insureds and providers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations to determine compensability and policy coverage.
• Establish and update reserves reflecting claim exposure and justify rationale.
• Manage files with timely contact, proper documentation, and proactive resolution of issues.
• Collaborate with medical and legal resources to pursue resolution opportunities, including structured settlements where appropriate.
• Negotiate settlements within authorized authority and prepare settlement packages.
