Qualifications

• 2 years Workers' Compensation claim handling experience.
• Analytical thinking to assess issues and determine resolutions.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for stakeholders.
• General understanding of state insurance contracts and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Investigate claims, assess coverage and determine compensability.
• Establish and update reserves; document rationale and outcomes.
• Collaborate with Medical Case Manager and internal experts for return-to-work plans.
• Proactively pursue settlement opportunities and manage litigation where needed.
• Maintain file quality through timely contact and accurate documentation.
