Dungarvin is seeking a Direct Support Professional for part-time work in our Adult Day Program in California. You will lead hands-on activities, teach practical life skills, and support participants toward independence. The schedule is Monday through Friday with no evenings or weekends, and benefits are eligible.

The role involves personal care, behavioral support, and documentation of progress, with opportunities for growth within a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Experience providing direct support to adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Ability to teach practical life skills and support behavior plans.
• Reliable, proactive, patient and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead group activities that build learning, confidence and independence.
• Teach life skills, social skills and decision-making.
• Support community outings and recreational experiences.
• Provide personal care and mobility support as needed.
• Document goals and daily activities accurately in the system.
