Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) caregiver to provide direct support to individuals with mental, intellectual & developmental, and physical disabilities. The goal is to empower independence with dignity and respect. Schedule: Saturday & Sunday evenings or overnights, with mandatory two weeks of training Monday-Friday 10am-5pm EST.

Wage: Starting $15.75/hr. Benefits include medical/vision/dental, supplemental insurance, HSA, life insurance, 401(k) with up to 3% match after

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License (due to transporting persons served).
• Some positions/locations may require your own vehicle and auto liability insurance based on the role.
• Good communication is key in this role, including reading, writing and documenting care.
• Person-centered, patient and kind; dependable, adaptable and team-oriented.
• Observant and detail oriented; committed to a respectful and collaborative environment.
• Computer skills for documentation; 18 years or older; background clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring and guidance.
• Ensure comfort, safety and personal growth of individuals served.
• Assist with daily living tasks and personal hygiene.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties.
