Job summary

Modernistic Cleaning & Restoration in Saginaw, MI is seeking an Experienced Water & Fire Restoration Technician. You will respond to homes and businesses affected by water and fire damage, performing extraction, light demolition, and setup of drying equipment to restore properties while delivering excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year restoration experience, a valid Michigan driver’s license, and a willingness to work after hours.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience preferred in restoration (water, fire, mold).
• Willingness to work after hours and weekends as needed.
• Valid Michigan driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to residential and commercial properties affected by water or fire damage.
• Emergency service response, water extraction, light demolition, use of hand and power tools, and drying equipment placement.
• Perform mitigation services to IICRC standards.
• Communicate and provide detailed notes on job progress daily.
• Follow documentation procedures (paper and electronic).
• Educate customers on additional services Modernistic can offer.
• Follow all safety practices and maintain vehicle and equipment.
• Must be able to work after hours and weekends when necessary.
