Job summary

Americold is seeking a warehouse supervisor to oversee an assigned team on a shift basis, focusing on efficient receiving, warehousing, and shipping of customer products to meet service and cost objectives.

You will supervise staff, ensure quality standards, coordinate cross-shift communication, and drive safety adherence to OSHA/MSDS guidelines while managing performance and records. This role requires leadership in a dynamic warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or warehouse experience (or Americold internship or a bachelor's degree).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate unloading, stacking, picking and staging of shipments.
• Ensure accuracy and condition of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Oversee shift communication and conduct shift meetings.
• Direct staff, schedule, evaluate performance and prepare records.
• Ensure safety and compliance with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Maintain a clean and secure work area and safe operation of equipment.
