Job summary

The role includes managing budgets, directing departmental activities, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations while representing the company to warehouse customers and driving continuous improvement and disaster prevention plans.

Qualifications

• College degree in business, logistics, or management; minimum 5 years in warehousing or logistics management.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Skilled in planning, staffing, budgeting, and organizing.
• Ability to analyze and resolve operational issues related to warehouse management, logistics, and personnel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the annual facility budget and ensure adherence across all warehouse departments.
• Direct, assign, and monitor work and performance objectives for warehouse staff.
• Oversee all warehouse activities, costs, operations, and forecasts, and track progress toward goals.
• Ensure a safe work environment by identifying safety concerns and implementing cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and all federal, state, and local safety regulations.
• Represent the company to warehouse customers, maintain positive relationships, and secure additional business.
• Develop and maintain plans for disaster prevention and recovery, and support continuous improvement processes.
