Written and oral communication; motivated, well-organized; student management; knowledge of 6-8th grade math.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance.
Provides academic assistance in the student's area of greatest need on a regular basis.
Collaborates with the student's teacher concerning student academic needs.
Engages students in appropriate academic activities.
Helps students develop strong study skills.
Establishes and maintains rapport with students.
Maintains record of student's progress.
Provides evaluations and other reports as requested by Title I Department in a timely manner.
Reports tutoring hours to an assigned Tutor contact.
Participates in scheduled meetings.
Performs other duties as assigned by appropriate administrator.
