Qualifications

• Experience supervising recreation operations and working with people with developmental disabilities and older adult populations.
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.

Responsibilities

• Leads scheduled programs for participants in classes, trips, and events.
• Ensures adherence to disability program rules and safety regulations.
• Maintains order and cleanliness of facilities used for programs.
• Participates in activities alongside participants and volunteers.
• Communicates directions to volunteers and participants to run events smoothly.
• Oversees events at a recreation facility and supports continuous process improvement.
