Job summary

The Easton Area YMCA is seeking a Swim Instructor to teach group and private lessons at our pool. The position offers Weekday days, evenings and weekends with part-time (5 hours minimum) or full-time (40 hours) opportunities and pay from $12.50 to $23 per hour.

Candidates must be 15+, enjoy working with kids, pass American Red Cross CPR, and complete our in-water skills assessment. You will collaborate with aquatics staff, lifeguards and guardians to provide safe, nurturing lessons and help the

• Age 15+ required for eligibility.
• Experience with kids and passion for teaching swimming.
• Ability to pass American Red Cross CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Work with groups and individuals to help swim-skill goals.
• Follow YMCA lesson plans and policies.
• Set up and clean up equipment for lessons.
• Communicate progress with participants and guardians.
• Ensure a safe, nurturing environment for students.
• Collaborate with aquatics staff, lifeguards and supervisors.
• Participate in staff trainings and in-service meetings.
