Job summary

The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is hiring a Swim Lesson Instructor responsible for teaching swimming to members while ensuring a safe and clean pool environment. You will help students learn to swim and provide support and encouragement throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old and pass swimming skills test.
• Must pursue YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor certification, CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe environment for learning to swim.
• Encourage students and enhance their aquatics experience.
• Evaluate swimming skills and complete progress reports.
• Participate in the aquatics staff team for safety.
• Attend required staff meetings and trainings.
