Job summary

YMCA in Doylestown/Warminster, PA is seeking enthusiastic Swim Instructors to teach group and private lessons. Part-time and full-time opportunities exist, with a minimum 5 hours per week and pay of $12.50–$23 per hour. Must be 15+ and able to obtain American Red Cross CPR certification. Training is provided and a positive community impact is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Age 15+ required.
• Experience with kids and passion for teaching children to swim.
• Ability to pass American Red Cross CPR Certification.
• Ability to complete in-water skills assessment.

Responsibilities

• Work with groups and individuals to help students reach swim-skill goals.
• Ensure lessons follow YMCA lesson plans and policies.
• Set up and clean up equipment for lessons.
• Communicate progress and goals with participants and guardians.
