Job summary

DESC is seeking a Permanent Supportive Housing Project Coordinator to support daily operations for a PSH building, collaborating with Clinical, Facilities, and external vendors. The role emphasizes working with tenants facing complex behavioral health and housing challenges.

Responsibilities include assisting the Project Manager, handling leasing processes, enforcing lease terms, and maintaining safety. Strong organizational and coordination skills are essential to succeed in this role at DESC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (social service or behavioral science preferred).
• Extensive relevant work experience may substitute for degree, plus two years of coordination experience.
• Demonstrated project management/coordination skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Familiarity with DESC software programs (W2W, Paycor, Bugzilla).
• Experience in human services, preferably with homelessness and behavioral health.
• Ability to communicate with diverse staff and clients.
• Willingness to be flexible and cooperative.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with program operation tasks.
• Assist Project Manager with personnel-related activities.
• Assist with leasing activities including eligibility certifications, recertifications, and lease renewals.
• Enforce lease provisions and apply consequences for violations.
• Collaborate with various staff and vendors to ensure safety and tenant success.
• Coordinate unit inspections and manage schedules and notices.
