Job summary

Behavioral Health Group (BHG) in Nashville seeks a compassionate Counselor to support patients on their recovery journey. You will conduct individual and group counseling, develop treatment plans, and connect patients with community resources.

This full-time role follows a Monday–Friday schedule (5am–2pm) with no nights or Sundays, offering medical, dental/vision coverage, 401(k) match, PTO, and professional development opportunities. BHG emphasizes growth across its 110+ locations in 24 states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Human Services or related field.
• Must hold one of the following licenses: LPC, LADAC I/II, LCSW, or LMSW.
• Enrollment or pursuit toward licensure acceptable at hire.
• Meet state-level requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling for patients recovering from drug and alcohol disorders.
• Guide patients through intake and orientation process.
• Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans and records.
• Connect patients with community resources and follow up on referrals.
• Maintain an inclusive, compassionate environment and comply with regulatory requirements.
