Texas Health and Human Services in Terrell, TX seeks a Substance Abuse Counselor III to provide specialized counseling for individuals battling alcohol and other substance use disorders. You will develop individualized recovery plans and coordinate aftercare with discharge staff, including IOP and community-based counseling.

You will collaborate with the treatment team, participate in staff development activities, and perform related duties as assigned to support recovery and continuum of care

• Develop Recovery Plan objectives and coordinate aftercare with discharge staff.
• Collaborate with treatment team and participate in staff development programs.
