Job summary
GPAC is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join our collaborative team and work on a range of commercial, industrial, institutional, and public infrastructure projects.
You will participate in all phases from preliminary design through construction support, solving complex problems with multidisciplinary teams and delivering practical, efficient designs aligned with client goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis.
- PE license preferred or ability to obtain licensure.
- 4+ years of structural engineering experience preferred.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and RAM/RISA/STAAD.Pro/ETABS.
Responsibilities
- Design structural systems for commercial, industrial, municipal, and institutional projects.
- Prepare structural calculations, engineering reports, specifications, and construction documents.
- Develop designs utilizing steel, reinforced concrete, wood, and masonry construction.
- Perform structural analysis using industry-standard software.
- Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, contractors, and project managers.
- Review shop drawings and RFIs, provide construction-phase support.
- Occasional field visits to verify conditions and observe construction progress.
- Ensure designs comply with building codes and client requirements.
