Job summary

gpac is seeking a Business Development Manager for Structural Steel to drive growth across Design-Build and Design-Assist, expanding the company’s footprint in the U.S. market.

You will cultivate relationships with architects, engineers, general contractors, and owners, presenting capabilities in PCI S2, AISC, lean construction, and virtual modeling tools such as Revit and Tekla to win strategic projects. Travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of business development or sales experience in structural steel or construction.
• Strong knowledge of Design-Build/Design-Assist and BIM/virtual construction tools.
• Proven ability to build networks with design firms and owners.

Responsibilities

• Proactively generate and nurture business leads within construction and design-build sectors.
• Position the company in Design-Assist and Design-Build projects.
• Present certifications and capabilities to clients.
• Collaborate to craft tailored proposals and scopes.
• Manage relationships with architects, engineers, GCs, and owners.
• Represent the company at industry events to raise visibility.
• Monitor market trends and competitive activity.
