Job summary

HRG is seeking a Staff Engineer II in Lehigh Valley, PA to design civil engineering projects and support permitting, bidding, and construction. You will work with project teams to deliver infrastructure solutions across municipal and water resources with opportunities for mentorship and hands‑on experience.

The role emphasizes collaboration, site design, and preparation of plans, along with cost estimation and documentation to support proposals and regulatory approvals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• E.I.T. certification preferred.
• 2+ years of consulting engineering experience including drainage and stormwater calculations.

Responsibilities

• Design stormwater, utility, roadway, site design, and parks/recreation projects.
• Prepare plans such as site layouts, utility plans, profiles, and detailed site designs.
• Conduct stormwater management, erosion and sediment control calculations and reports for permits and approvals.
• Draft engineering proposals, project manuals, and construction specifications.
