Job summary

Elite Home Health, part of the LHC Group and affiliated with Optum, is hiring a PRN Speech Therapist to provide in-home care. You will assess needs, develop a treatment plan, and implement interventions to support communication, swallowing, and cognitive function.

Work with a care team to improve patient outcomes and quality of life. Responsibilities include applying state-appropriate practice standards, documenting progress, and educating patients and families on therapy strategies.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Speech Therapy in Arkansas.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current driver's license and dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides speech therapy services within the plan of care and scope of practice.
• Assess functional ability and contribute to therapy plan development.
• Treats patients to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive function.
• Observe and report patient progress to supervising clinicians.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers in speech therapy techniques.
