Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Amarillo seeks a Speech Pathologist to provide evidence-based therapy for patients with speech and language needs in a inpatient rehabilitation setting.

You will evaluate, design and implement personalized treatment plans, track progress, and adjust therapy as needed while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient-centered outcomes. This role offers growth opportunities within a nationwide rehabilitation leader.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as Speech-Language Pathologist (state regulations).
• CCC Certification required or equivalent credential.
• CPR certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with relevant clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer individualized speech-language treatment plans.
• Identify communication issues and modify therapy as needed.
• Track, document, and report patient progress and response to therapy.
• Contribute to a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
