Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Amarillo is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs in a compassionate inpatient setting.

You will design individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust therapies to maximize outcomes. A Master’s degree is preferred, with CCC certification and CPR required or attainable within 30 days of hire. Join a team focused on patient-centered recovery and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Competence) required.
• CPR certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized speech-language treatment plans.
• Identify issues and modify therapy as needed.
• Track and document patient progress and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
