Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Amarillo is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver evidence-based therapy for patients with speech and communication challenges in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC (Certification of Clinical Competence) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• CPR certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation.
• Identify issues and modify therapy as needed.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
