Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech and language disorders in a supportive hospital setting. You will design and implement individualized therapy plans, measure outcomes, and communicate progress with patients and families.

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
