Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide specialized therapy for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs in a hospital setting. You will evaluate, design, and implement personalized treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust care as needed to maximize patient outcomes.

We welcome candidates holding CCC certification and current state licensure, with CPR/BLS readiness. Master’s degree is preferred or Bachelor’s with field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.
• Must be in possession of current state license in Speech Therapy. Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC), required. BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire within this role.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
