Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide speech and language rehabilitation, evaluate patients, and develop personalized treatment plans. You will document progress and adjust therapies to improve communication abilities, contributing to patient outcomes across a national inpatient rehabilitation network.

The role requires state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR within 30 days of hire; a Master's degree is preferred, or a Bachelor’s with relevant field experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent education is preferred, or a Bachelor's degree with relevant field experience.
• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations; CCC certification preferred/required as noted.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
