Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, treat, and support patients with speech and language needs in a leading national inpatient rehabilitation network.

You will work with a collaborative team, using advanced technology and evidence-based practices to help patients regain communication abilities and improve quality of life. Clinical mentorship and ongoing education are emphasized within a compassionate culture.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure in good standing
• CCC Certification (Certification of Clinical Competence)
• CPR certification required or within 30 days of hire
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s with field experience

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop and administer personalized speech therapy plans
• Identify issues and modify therapy as needed
• Track, document and report patient progress and responses to treatment
• Celebrate patient victories and progress with the care team
