Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Salisbury is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs. You will develop customized plans and monitor progress in a supportive inpatient setting.

The role requires state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR certification (or within 30 days of hire). A Master’s degree is preferred, though a Bachelor’s with relevant experience may be acceptable.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required or in process.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized speech therapy plans for patients.
• Identify communication issues and modify therapy as needed.
• Track and document patient progress and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories and progress milestones.

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

CCC Certification (ASHA)

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (state licensure)
