Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Salisbury is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language disorders. You will develop personalized therapy plans, document progress, and collaborate with your care team in a welcoming community hospital setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC, and appropriate licensure (state). CPR certification is required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent is preferred.
• CCC certification required or in process as applicable.
• State licensure as SLP is required by regulations.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree with relevant field experience acceptable when combined with CCC.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer individualized speech-language treatment plans.
• Identify issues and adjust therapy as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Document patient progress and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories and support interdisciplinary care.
