Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our team near Bartow, FL. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech and language challenges using evidence-based techniques and personalized treatment plans.

In this role you will document progress, adjust treatments as needed, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support inpatient rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist per state regulations.
• CCC (ASHA) certification required.
• CPR (BLS) certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred or Bachelor’s with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient progress, performance and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories and progress along the way.
