Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver evidence-based therapy for patients recovering from speech and language disorders. You will design and implement individualized treatment plans and monitor progress in a supportive inpatient rehab setting.

Requirements include active state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR either at hire or within 30 days. A Master's degree is preferred, or a Bachelor's with related field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist per state regulations.
• SLP CCC certification is required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred or Bachelor's with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as needed.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
