Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of New England at Lowell is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver individualized language and communication therapy to patients in a inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will evaluate, plan treatment, and document progress as part of a collaborative care team.

The role requires current licensure or certification, CCC eligibility, CPR certification (or within 30 days), and a degree (Master's preferred or Bachelor's with field experience).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master‘s degree preferred, or Bachelor‘s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
