Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of New England at Lowell is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, plan, and administer customized therapy for patients with speech and language needs.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, assesses, and develops personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifies issues and modifies speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracks and documents patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
