Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is required
• Master’s Degree from an ASHA-accredited university is required
• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license/credential is required
• Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) is preferred
• Experience in a school setting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements intervention programs to remediate speech/language deficits
• Collaborates with school staff and families to design intervention/IEP plans
• Provides consultation to staff and parents on speech-language goals
• Acts as a resource to families and school personnel on speech-language development
• Administers screenings/diagnostic tests to determine speech-language needs
• Interprets tests and prepares feedback reports for stakeholders
• Ensures compliance with SESI policies and paperwork
• Performs light lifting and mobility-related tasks as needed
