The Grove at Valhalla Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Armonk, NY is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide and direct therapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment planning, and coordination with the care team.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, possesses or is eligible for state licensure, and demonstrates strong communication and teamwork. Compensation is $43-$47 per hour with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current state license or license eligible.
• Maintains education and development appropriate for position.

Responsabilités

• Provides Speech Therapy services to patients and initiates referrals.
• Conducts screenings of patients to determine need for intervention.
• Evaluates patients for treatment planning and conducts specialized evaluations.
• Communicates evaluation findings to patients, family, and team members.
• Establishes patient schedules with the team.
• Develops treatment plans with goals and methods.
• Monitors progress and adjusts treatment as needed.
• Recommends and trains on augmentative communication devices.
• Participates in discharge planning and home/community programming.
• Documents results and maintains records as required.
• Supervises students and volunteers as appropriate.
