Job summary

Wellstar Health Systems, Inc. seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate patients and develop speech-language plans of care in collaboration with the physician.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited speech-language pathology program.
• Current licensure as Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and provide patient-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment plans.
• Develop goals and discharge plans for patients across speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing.
• Implement and adjust treatment plans; provide patient and family education.
• Document evaluations and plans per departmental guidelines.
• Coordinate with staff and physicians on referrals and equipment.
• Maintain infection prevention precautions and ethical practice.
