Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Saint John Hospital in Leavenworth, KS seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for Per Diem/PRN days. The role involves diagnosis and treatment of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy to improve articulation, fluency, voice disorders, and language comprehension.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other relevant professionals.
• Maintain detailed records of patient evaluation, treatment, and progress.
• Educate clients and family members about communication strategies.
• Stay updated on clinical research and advances in speech-language pathology.
