Saint Joseph Hospital - Elgin, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for per diem/day shifts. The role involves evaluation, planning and implementing treatment for patients with speech, language, cognition and swallowing disorders, plus contributing to program development within the department.

Requirements include a Master’s in SLP, active state license, CCC-SLP or CFY with supervision, and at least one year in a hospital setting. Current BLS is required.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in speech-language pathology required.
• Active license to practice speech-language pathology in the state of anticipated employment, free of disciplinary action required.
• CCC-SLP or Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) to be considered on a case-by-case basis (supervision available).

Responsabilidades

• Evaluation, treatment planning and implementation of treatment for patients with disorders of speech, language, cognition, swallowing and related services.
• Assist in developing and implementing new and ongoing programs for department enhancement.
