Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Chattanooga at Cleveland is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, plan, and implement personalized speech and language therapy programs for patients in a rehabilitation setting.

The role requires current state licensure as a Speech Therapist and CCC certification (or eligibility). CPR/BLS certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire; a Master's degree is preferred, or a Bachelor's with field experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.
• Current state licensure in Speech Therapy as per state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required or in process.
• CPR/BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as needed.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field

Current state license in Speech Therapy

CCC (ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence)

BLS/CPR certification (or within 30 days of hire)
