Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and provide skilled therapy in patients' homes under physician supervision. The role spans settings from private homes to memory care communities, addressing language, swallowing, cognitive communication, and AAC needs.

Experience with stroke and progressive diseases like Parkinson’s or dementia is relevant. A valid driver’s license and state SLP licensure are required, with comprehensive benefits and sign-on

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid state driver’s license.
• Must possess automobile liability insurance.
• Must wear seat belts at all times while driving.
• Dependable transportation kept in good working condition.
• Must be able to drive an automobile in all weather conditions.
• Currently licensed as an SLP in the State of Employment.

Responsibilities

• SLP evaluates and provides skilled speech-language therapy in a home setting under physician supervision.
• Home settings may include single or multi-family homes, assisted living, independent living, or memory care.
• Treat patients with language impairments, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, cognitive communication issues, voice disorders, or AAC needs.
• Work with patients who have had a stroke or progressive diseases such as Parkinson’s or dementia.
