Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to empower students and schools. Requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active Texas licensure, and ASHA CCC-SLP certification. Bilingual skills are a plus.

You will evaluate needs, communicate findings to families and districts, develop and implement interventions, and provide or supervise therapy. Flexible scheduling and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
  • Active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

  • Evaluate Needs: Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students’ needs for specialized therapy services.
  • Communicate Findings: Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel, ensuring clear and compassionate communication.
  • Develop Interventions: Collaborate with the ARD committee to create targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.
  • Provide Therapy: Deliver therapy services directly or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in implementing IEP goals.
  • Monitor Progress: Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.
  • Support Team: Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to advocate for and support students’ special education programs.
