Amergis is hiring a Special Education Teacher in McMurray, PA. The contract position is full-time with 36 hours per week, paying $43 per hour.

The role involves delivering services to K–12 students and collaborating with program staff to implement individualized education plans. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, valid state teaching credentials, and at least one year of teaching experience.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred).
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state regulations.
• Minimum of one year teaching experience (preferred).
• State Teacher Certification; Elementary Teaching preferred.
• State Teacher Certification; Secondary Teaching preferred.
• State Teacher Certification; Special Teaching preferred.
• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR, TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Mansioni

• Special Education Teacher provides quality services to students, K–12.
• Collaborate with the Special Education Program Administrator on planning and implementation.
• Work with general education staff for instruction and consultation.
• Provide tutorial assistance and direct support as needed.
