Qualifications

• Two years college (48 semester units).
• CPR and First Aid Certification may be required.
• Experience working with teenagers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist certificated teacher in the care and supervision of the assigned student.
• Provide medical procedures for the student under supervision of the district nurse.
• Monitor the student to maintain a safe and positive environment.
• Escort the student outside classroom situations to support safety and social integration.
• Assist in developing lesson plans and assessing progress as needed.
